Dr. Weed interviewed about the Sowams Heritage Area Project on statewide cable tv

Sowams Heritage Area Project Coordinator Dr. David Weed was interviewed by Bob Poniatowski on East Bay Today at the Portsmouth RI cable TV station on February 4, 2020. They taped a 10-minute interview for the “East Bay Today” show and then the half-hour “Time Capsule” show that each covered how the Sowams Heritage Area Project started two years earlier and the progress that’s been made toward creating a new National Heritage Area between Providence and Bristol, RI. Both are programs are scheduled to air both statewide and locally. “East Bay Today” will air statewide on Channel A on Cox, Full Channel 13, and Verizon Channel 32 on Thursday, February 13th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday the 16th at 4:30 p.m. “Time Capsule” will air on Wednesday, February 12th at 6:00 p.m. and Friday, February 14th at 4:30 p.m. Both programs will also air on East Bay Channel 18. Check the program listing for exact times. “This is a great opportunity to spread public awareness about the Sowams Heritage Area Show and to increase interest in the shows that will be airing weekly on these same channels,” commented Weed.
