The Great Migration Study Project Continues

Since 1988, the goal of The Great Migration Study Project has been to compile comprehensive genealogical and biographical accounts of the twenty thousand English men, women, and children who settled in New England between 1620 and 1640. In February 2024, the project continued with the exciting new release of the first book in Series 3 of the project, The Great Migration: Immigrants to New England 1636-1638, Volume 1, A-Be.

This volume contains new research which uncovered the details of 129 immigrants who came to New England between 1636 and 1638 and appear in the Great Migration Directory.

Chief Genealogist David Allen Lambert details what can be found in this new volume and how it can help researchers.
