Pokanoket mural unveiled at ceremony in East Providence

The East Providence Arts Council, with help from the Rhode Island Foundation and the City of East Providence, recently completed a mural project honoring the Pokanoket Tribe who have lived in Sowams, for the past 10,000 years. The mural was created by Charles Clear III and Bonnie Lee Turner and depicts the Massasoit Metacomet.
