Pokanoket leather workshop at Mt. Hope Farm’s Camp Wetu

Tribe members Two Deers and Blue Shell explain what the children will be doing while Camp Wetu Director Carolyn Westgate and Counselor Thomas O’Leary assure one of the campers that he can do it.

Carolyn explains how to put the leather pouches together while Counselor Emilie Spinner helps Bellewyn sew hers.


Hawkswanee and Two Deers show the campers how to sew their pouches together using sinew.
