Melissa Parson, her husband and sound person, John Ewing, paid a visit to Margaret’s Rock with their friend and script writer, Rebecca Hughes (pictured left), on July 24, 2023. Melissa is a documentary filmmaker, videographer, and descendent of Roger Williams from Seattle who is working on a film about Williams and visited to get footage of the place where he was sheltered in the winter of 1636 after his exile from Salem. They plan to return to the area again once they have secured funding for the project.
