Carl Ferreira of Bristol and Greg Spiess of Warren had a chance to meet each other face-to-face for the first time at the Coffee Depot in Warren. Both Sowams Heritage Area Project Team Members have been working on different aspects of the project but hadn’t had a chance ot meet in person until today. Carl has a great knowledge of American Aborigine culture and practices, especially in the Bristol, Tiverton and Fall River Area, and Greg works as an architect on historic restoration projects within the Sowams Heritage Area. Both are helping to move the project along toward an official launch on September 9, 2018.
